Our Transitioning to Independence Program (TIP) empowers high school students who are blind or visually impaired with the essential skills and knowledge to successfully navigate life beyond high school. Whether transitioning to college or entering the workforce, TIP equips students with the tools they need to achieve their goals.
The program focuses on three key areas:
–Self-Advocacy
–Independent Living
– Job & College Preparation
Each monthly session delves into these topics with professionally led, hands-on training, ensuring students gain practical experience and confidence in their abilities.
If you know of a student in high school who will be transitioning into secondary school or the workforce and might be interested in participating in this program – please contact Kris at 570-693-3555 x222.
